I've drawn an analogy between two examples that exist principally to entertain an audience. I'm not saying people are wrong for voicing their concerns or criticisms.
What I'm saying is that I think that a lot of blame that has been laid at Flem's door (in this instance) is unjustified. Criticism when things aren't right is part and parcel of life. People have a right to criticise anything, especially something that involves such passion and deep emotional attachment.
What I was trying to understand from my point of view, is that I'm expected to perform to the best of my ability on a consistant basis and entertain an audience. It's the same basic principals for a footballer (although I wish I was on their wages), but I don't understand how alot of the criticism and blame aligned at the likes of Flem, can or would inspire me to do better or help the overall cause of the radio station in question.
