The goal, well I thought it was a brilliant piece of refereeing. The bloke had to put up with Real diving and pratting about all night, then Real had pulled down an Espanyol player in the box, and the whistle went. But as the player went down, the shot beat the keeper
Yes the whistle went before it crossed the line, but it no way stopped the real keeper from saving it. He knew nothing about that whistle whilst the ball crashed past him, and the real players didn't stop (like the plymouth ones did when ashton was miles offside :D )
I don't see what they want him to do, restart the game from the minute it happened, give Espanyol the penalty, deal with the foul as that guy was on a yellow which would mean a red and then play out the last 20 minutes
