Encouraged by rave write-ups in Empire, I watched Winter's Bone

Yes it was a good performance by the lead actress but the film was a little bit of a let down. I do like a bit of bleak from time to time: but Frozen River was muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch the better fillum. Strong recommendation, I'd give that.
