My view

Inferior teams sometimes get a result. Orient beat us and swansea and drew with arsenal, man u only beat non league crawley 1-0, it happens. Doncaster packed the midfield and played a very high line squeezing the play into a small area, millwall did the same but a late goal saved the day. Teams are not going to come here and let us play any more.

Ward had little to do last night but continues to look so uncomfortable playing on the right, and with Zac looking so good, I think should be dropped for edwards.

Why have Gill on the bench last night? I don't see what he was ever going to offer. I know Macnamee had a terrible game against Orient but he has at times had a real impact as a substitute and we were crying out for width and pace.

I love it that we are a passing team under Pl but I do think against such a terrible team we needed to get the ball forward more quickly. Their defence was terrible. Horse took his goal well but the defending was laughable a deep cross one man in front of Holt and one behind and neither went for the ball. The midfield was so congested it was always difficult to try to pass through it, so we kept going backwards which made the attacks so slow.

Holt hit over the bar from 6 yds and AW hit a header straight at the keeper from 2 yds, if either had gone in we would all be happy with a comfortable win. Fine margins.
