I know picking player of the season after getting relegated from the Prem, was like chosing between herpes and genital warts, but the Doc still won.

There must have been something there that was redeeming about him. Perhaps it was his never give up attitude that endeared him, but he was always a liability, with his legendary hug.

Why did he get contract extensions, was it his Spurs pedigree, or were we worried we couldn't get any better. Definitely thought last season was one of his better ones for us, he certainly found his level.
