Canaries already promoted this season - maybe a good omen...

I follow Russian football as my missus is originally from Moscow (her family are Dinamo fans). You may be interested to know that the Canaries (FC Kuban Krasnodar) have just been promoted from the Russian Fist Division to the Primera League as Champions. The new season kicks off in about three weeks time. Kuban are known as the canaries their their playing strip is very similar to ours. They are currently manage d by Dan Petrescu (ex Chelsea)
