I wish i had once

It was at Garyboldisham; I was fielding at cover and our opening quickie bowled a juicy half-volley which their bat middled right at me. I dived foward to try to take the catch, and the ball wedged my little finger into the ground and bounced up off it and hit me flush in the right plum. Ouch !

At least it lightened eveyone elses afternoon up. Bastards !

They brought me a cup of water out to aid recovery.
