definitely worth checking out.
Not sure how easy it is to do from abroad, but long-term good investments will be firms with lithium production rights. Reserves are limited and prices are rising as more is needed for batteries for cars.
There aren't many firms that produce it as far as I know as about 90% of world reserves are in Chile and Bolivia, but the biggest is Soquimich, definitely a good investment if you want solid long-term gain
