I once split up with someone on Valentine's Day

It was a long distance relationship which wasn't working out. We were on the phone on Valentine's Day, arguing, as usual, and she said 'If you want to dump me, just do it' - well, I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to leap through that open window.

I feel like this is the one blemish on my otherwise perfect record of gentlemanly courtship.
