Agree to an extent, Ward is most culpable though. Very weak one foto challenge on Kebe.

Needed to be stronger there, had he been he'd have won it.

After that Barnett is on a hiding to nothing really. Its 2v1 and although cover was coming from midfield it was never going to get there in time.

He's got a hard decision to make, stay with Long or go to the man with the ball, stick or twist. If he sticks Kebe gets a free shot at ghoul effectively, if he twists Kebe can just lay it off to the unmarked Long.

In the end, Barnett did neither really and ended up losing Long (good movement by Long though to ive him credit and perfect ball across). Barnett needed to make a clear decision one way or the other then cross his fingers. He didn't, which is an error. Like I say though, after ward missed a very winnable tackle, Barnett was on a hiding to nothing really, as was ruddy.

Needed to protect his near post so Kebe doesn't have an easy gap to aim at, doing that leaves him stranded on the ball back across. We had to hope one of them made a mistake, they didn't.
