all true. Given Egypt's importance to Israel that's inevitable

I'd imagine that Israel (and obviously the US) are s**tting bricks about one of their major neighbours becoming more hostile, as I can't imagine any popular regime looking as fondly to the east as Mubarek's govt.
Whatever happens surely it'll be an improvement on whatever's gone before and they have a chance of a really representative administration
