you may well be right and not the first time I have been accused of that

however I don't really agree with taking these things at face value and not investigating it's effects and causes and find the root of the problem. As for your creativity comment, quite the opposite for me, this sort of humour is the most lazy there is by making comedians or in Top Gear's case wannabe comedians think more about the 'jokes' they are making is forcing them to be more creative.
