Q34. How does the club justify the 300% mark-up on the Lidl brand lager served in the North Stand at the pre-season friendlies? Lidl price: ?4.59 for six, ITFC price: ?2.70 a bottle.
Q35. Lidl lager - you can take the p!ss, but you shouldn't sell it! Seriously, you can sell a branded lager at an inflated price, because people are used to paying such prices in pubs & clubs, but stooping to a supermarket brand - AND THEN still charging a premium price - was a shabby move. You should be encouraging people to drink at the ground!
A)Carlsberg had to withdraw their product due to a problem with exploding bottles. They were replaced with a Lidl sub-branded product that was actually Holsten Pils.
What a lame reply, makes that warm feeling even warmer.
