With the news of West Ham getting the Olympic Stadium I said to my friend that although it's good Spurs not getting it (as it would mean them not playing in Spurs), I hate it when clubs move stadium, especially given modern stadia are totally void of atmosphere, character etc.
He disagreed and said it doesn't matter where a team plays, if they can get more fans it's all about "progress".
This is a Liverpool "fan" who has never been to Anfield, but he does know his football and loves football.
I said if Norwich moved stadium, I doubt I'd keep going and if we moved to a different part of the country AND had a lego type stadium, I'd 99% no longer go. Anyone else feel that way?
