Anyone have any experience of depositing money on betfred via paypal?

Made a payment to betfred via paypal for a few bets tonight, but despite the paypal status being "complete" the funds never appeared in my betfred account.

Got in contact with betfred and I am getting "the funds were never transferred to us you need to take it up with paypal". Of course, paypal aren't having none of it so I dunno what I can do!
