yesterday I did a "Sport For All" course - "learning to teach" sports to include various disabled people.

The participants first sat a "quiz", part of which were seperating "allowed" and "not-allowed" descriptions/terms for people.

I was staggered to find to describe some-one as "able-bodied" is frowned upon and not acceptable. The correct term is "non-disabled!".

Political correctness gone mad.......
