That'll learn them. Some of the comments there are beyond parody:

"Why do they keep pussy footing around, bite the bullet ConLibs. Boot camps and National Service are the answer, that will drive the armed forces numbers up and knock them into shape. It will also cut the un-employment figures down at a stroke.
Failing that, set up some old fashioned stocks for people to throw rubbish at them."
