FAO CB41 Apologies it was the Atlas not Dominator that preceded the Commando

Sorry, memory slip yesterday, the Atlas as a 750cc bike was the predecessor to the Commando, not the Dominator.

I bought my dominator from a friend who also used to play for York Athletic, Jim Broadbent. He was not tall, but had legs like industrial strength springs.

It had semi chopped handle bars, c12? high. The bloke I sold it to, Sas Betts, decided to change them, but the grips didn?t fit. I saw him driving along Tombland with a mate on the back operating the throttle for him by holding the outer cable and pulling the inner cable! Absolute madness, but that was 40 years ago.
