Found two ladybirds in our bathroom at the weekend. What's that all about?

You don't get ladybirds in January, it's too cold by far. Does that mean they've been camping out in my house since it was warm, and they've only started to come out now?

They went out the window into the cold. Teach them for poncing about in my bathroom while I'm having a soak in the tub.
