Until he came on, the ball didn't stick up field. It was either played over the top for Jackson to (usually) unsuccessfully chase, or was cleared away by Purse.

When he came on, we started winning those headers.

Another point - was it just me or was our usually billiard-table-esque pitch rather bobbly last night? Of course it wasn't the meadow that Selhurst was, but it didn't look right to me.
