the Pollyannas arguments are:
1. You are a bad supporter (Mr Keith Newton for instance)
2. You have a short memory (although if they can't remember southampton, for instance, their memories must be virtually non-existent)
3. Keep the faith
4. Worthy is a legend
5. He's better than Hamilton
6. We can't afford to sack him
Not actually anything there to take seriously is there? They refuse to deal in anything other than cheap insults (granted NOT a trait that Pollyanna had) and bland, meaningless platitudes. But ask a simple question like WHY was it such a good thing to keep playing Holt and leave Safri on the bench they simply won't answer. Or , when we had our worst defensive season since 1957 was our central defensive partnership (until today) ALWAYS Fleming and someone, again no answer is forthcoming. The truth of the matter is that I'm firmly in the Worthington out camp and I could mount a better defense of him than his supporters.
