the women not knowing the offside rule

is fair enough a bit of banter - as its a long running joke. That part of the saga has been blown out of proportion, it wasn't like it was broadcast and setting a bad example to millions of viewers.

However.... asking a female colleague to tuck something into his crotch is out of order and he shouldn't be surprised he was disciplined.
