Another couple of points about Ruddy and our goalkeeping situation

The guy had big shoes to fill, knew he wasn't first choice by the fans and even had a rough start by his own admission.
Takes a lot of mental character to come through all that.

And he has...... has turned in a lot fo really solid performances.

(The penalty save vs Swansea was really good and hugely crucial)

Not only that, he is currently playing with the knowledge that he has to be careful about not getting sent off because we basically have a young keeper on the bench who has hardly played a reserve game let alone in front of 20,000+ people.

The fact we havnt drafted a loan keeper is actually a brilliant move by Lambert.

It sends a really positive message to the youth players at the club that its all about ability..........
It would have been so easy to draft in a keeper for a month or two.
