Just back from the game . . .

Had to dig hard for that result.
We didn't look great today, very scrappy for long periods although we never really thought they would score.
Evans took his goal well but shouldn't have been allowed a shot.
Ruddy saved a shot really well with his legs but that was about the only shot he had to save although he caught lots of crosses.
Drury, Fox and Crofts put in really big shifts today. Whitbread is getting better but a bit surprised with his substitution and of Wes as Chris Martin was poor today. He did however hit the bar from a free kick.
Ref had a strange game. A lot of fussy free kicks went against us and Drury was booked when some guy blatantly dived. Can't believe the ref got conned by that. However, during both corners from which we scored there was a load of pulling and shoving and most refs would have given a free kick to the defending side. Crofts took them both really well.
Crap away area for fans, s**t pubs, hard to park, no tv in the concourse. Hope we don't have to go back there next year.
