Well not being funny, but if the rough estimate of 10% of the transfer fee is true, then I don't know many people who would turn down getting 2.4 million squid just for changing job, then getting paid oodles to do it.

He knows that if they get relegated he'll have a release clause and at his age he will get straight back to a Prem team anyway.
