I thought he was pretty s**t myself

He clearly had talent, but couldn't use it often.
I remember a home game against West Ham in 86 I think, we were top of the table. He had an open goal and tried to backheel it in for no reason other than to be flash.

It didn't go in and we drew 1-1.
