Oh dear Lambert ! He is no longer the messiah

he is now officially a very naughty boy !

Whilst no doubt having very little interest in the Burnley job, he has cleverly flirted with the media and courted the speculation that he could be tempted away from Carrow Road to a slightly more illustrious destination than Turf Moor.

Those of you who think this is the end of the matter are simple fools. If he truly had no intention of leaving Norwich he would simply have said so.

The likelihood of vacancies occuring in the short term at the likes of West Ham and Aston Villa suggests that Lamberts days in Norfolk are numbered one way or another.

If he is still in charge at Carrow Road come August I will be very, very surprised indeed.
