Thoughts on Lambert

Personally I think it's a bit unfair to fault Lambert on his handling on todays press conference. He claimed he was happy with the press statement, and did not want to discuss the matter further, and I don't think this automatically means that he wants to leave.

Maybe I'm a bit naive, but I also think that a switch from Norwich to Burnley at this time would look like a strange career move. Norwich have a big crowd, is on a forward push - and even if cash is not free flowing at the moment, moving to Burnley now would make no sense.

If meetings have taken place between Lambert and the board, it could mean that the board realises that they have to improve Lamberts contract to prevent him from wanting to move when an attractive opportunity comes along...
