Yep, With You On That One!

Mooted a similar thought this morning.

I think Burnley's interest has made the Jenga Tower topple-there has been interest from other clubs and their representatives, but on the enquiry sort of level, informal discussions etc, the club have been aware of it, as has, via his agent, Lambert.

Now Burnley have made it something that can't be glossed over any more, its out in the open and needs to be addressed.

Hence today and all the goings on. Maybe Burnley are the reason its come to the fore, but someone like West Ham are the agitator in the background?

I think, I hope, that, if he is still with us in 24 hours time, then there can be cautious optimism he'll stay.

Funny, all this talk from PL about "lets get safe first" about this season-maybe that was always his benchmark, make sure our status for next season is guaranteed-then ask about the next level and if the club, having (a) backed him with promotion last season and (b) backed him getting us this far, this season, can (c) take us a step further?
