That Club Statement...

OK, reading betwen lines maybe, but the club statement included this...

"Under no circumstances would the club wish to grant permission..."

I don't like "would the club wish". I'd far rather "will the club give" as in "Under no circumstances will the club give permission...." -"would the club wish" indicates we might not want to give it, but we are aware we may have to.

Oh well, maybe it was written quickly and it was late, after all...
