Unless there has been some behind the scenes bust up I cannot think of one reason why Lambert would leave here.......

He knows if we dont get promoted this year its no big deal.

If he quits for Burnley then maybe he isn't as smart as we think he is.

What worries me more is that us reject an approach might have bigger clubs sniffing.

Dont laugh, but the word coming out of Liverpool is they are looking for a dynamic young manager if hodgson goes (which is looking likely)

Talking of Hodgson, that should be a warning to Lambert that leaving one place for another can turn you from a footballing genius to the anti-christ in a few short months if things don't go perfectly.

I could have sworn Liverpool have done OK in Europe this year with some weakened teams.
