Burnley would never go public unless they knew Lambert was interested.

Why would they risk embarrassing the club by Paul Lambert turning them down. They wouldn't. These rumours have been around far too long for there to be nothing in it.

Lambert must be getting offered serious wedge (which is not a surprise as Burnley hardly spent anything in the Prem / have parachute payments) and it's closer to Scotland for him.

As someone touched on earlier though, if he's gonna ditch us for Burnley it was only a matter of time.

Replacements..? Not sure about Malky. Someone with more experience please.

Very gutted by all this though.
