Straightaway you would assume that Culverhouse and Karsa would leave too.
However, I don't know if that would be a foregone conclusion. Remember that Culverhouse (and I assume Karsa but only really guessing) both have familes around the South East of England - being that they have been with Wycombe, Colchester and us.
Everyone knows about Lambert's situation with his family - don't know why they haven't moved down, but the fact is they haven't so he has no family ties here.
My first choice therefore would be to give Culverhouse the job till the end of the season. Culverhouse does a great job as far as we can all see and stepped in admirally when Lambert was banished to the stands. First choice therefore is to give it to Culverhouse. If he ever wants to get into management himself, this is his clear chance and would give us the best chance possible of continuing in similar vein over the coming months.
However, if he was to go along with Karsa, that would leave us in the s**t. For me, I reckon Gus Poyet could be a good outside bet - look what he has done at Brighton.
We would want an attacking manager to suit our squad as much as possible. At least we are right up the top of the table so its not like a few years ago when we were scratching our heads to think who would even want the job!
My worry is that we would go for someone like Roy Hodgson. Now before you all laugh, remember that he is good friends with Delia and recommended McNally for the role of Chief Executive to Norwich. He will leave Liverpool any day, will be a free agent (unless he's put on Gardening Leave) and knows Director and Chief Exec extremely well....
BUT, he's a defensive manager and won't suit our squad.
Lets just hope this wont be an issue!!!
