nada! Too many police around for it to kick off,

I have never ever seen so many police in my life. I would not be exagerating if I said that there is a police officer every 10 paces! There was a rather nice photo on the front of a paper yesterday of some cartel guy who had been shot in the street but that was somewhere else in the city.

first impressions after one day,

very clean, very safe, very cheap and very friendly people. I'm here until Jan 2nd and then i'm off to fiddle with a volcano for a few weeks.
