Alas football now means that the premiership riches has to be the choice

in order to survive / prosper. If sacraficing an FA Cup victory is the price to be paid then so be it.
All hypothetical of course because we're not going to win the FA Cup this season even if we put every last resource into it!
Now maybe in a few years if we're cemented in the prem.......
