In a nut-shell the rules are as follows:
5 yellows between the opening day of the season and the 31st December = 1 match ban
5 yellows between the opening day and the last day of the season = player warned as to his future conduct.
10 yellows between first and last day of the season = 2 match ban + player being severely censured and warned as to his future conduct
10 yellows between first day of the season and second Sunday in April= 2 match ban
15 yellows between first and last day of the season= 3 match ban
20 yellows = player has to attend a meeting of a Regulatory Commission. Members of the Commission will have the power to deal with the player in such manner they deem fit. The same will apply for any further five cautions recorded against the player.
