Barcelona beating Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal on the last occasion they played them.

Athletic Madrid far superior performances and results against Liverpool in 4 games in 18 months when both were performing quite average in their own leagues and of course beating Fulham in the final. Both mid table sides in their own countries.

On the other hand Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd have all beaten Real I think fairly recently. Seville beat spurs a few years ago fairly comfortably. Arsenal beat Seville easily at home...etc...but lost away.

I've said for many years there is little to choose between the 2 leagues, very different styles and depends what you look for in a football match as to what you think is better.

Anyway who claims EPL is far superior to La Liga is a f**king idiot though.
