I couldn't agree more.

Like you I love to see them lose, but over and above that I couldn't care less. I seem to remember it being more intense when they had a decent side in the eighties, and when we were the better side in the nineties.

Now they're a busted flush (as to a degree we are), neither side has anything to crow about. Both sides reckon they're s**t with poor managers so there's no real room for any baiting.

I get much more worked up about teams like Crystal Palace to be honest.
