in the good old days........

of non noon kick offs on a Sunday, The Drum and Monkey was superb. That evening game when Bellamy scored the winner, the plod told the bar staff to stop serving about 7.15. So they ( the polis and the bar staff) disappeared and people started helping themselves. Coming out of the pub was "lively" and then even more so after the game going back to the station. That was the last proper kick off time. Ahhhh, memories.
