youth, every time

once in the squad they are there for life. we did have our own academy a few years back and had 12 in the youth team but gender killed 7 of them (cock hens don't lay eggs obviously so we ate them) leaving 5 to come up through the ranks and they have turned out week in week out ever since laying some great eggigols for breakfasts and other culinary delights.

since the cockerel died a couple of years back we've relied on the transfer window.
