I really feel deep down that Worthy will not be sacked for the forseeable future. I'm convinced the board will stick with him allowing him to turn things round. Of course whether he can do that is another matter altogether.
In the grand scheme of things, we've played eight games, and lost half of them. The board won't view this as a crisis yet, and will resist any panic decisions, descenting voices or fan un-rest. They are not ones for knee-jerk reactions, and will want to stick by Worthy through this very rough patch.
Tough as it is to see it now, things can turn around as quickly as they go bad. It's apparant that all's not well behind the scenes in many different ways, but as much as Worthy has done good for this club, I believe he will be given more of a chance to put right what is wrong presently.
Of course where that leaves us in the fullness of time remains to be seen, and I hope that whatever the outcome, it is the right one for my beloved club.
