Very Belated Thoughts On Yesterday...

Hurt like hell to wake up in the Holiday Inn @ Carrow Road yesterday morning and know I wouldn't see the game.

You have to check out by noon at the latest and the room was already booked for last night so, reluctantly, on the road by ten...after a brief chat with Jake Humphrey by the OB vehicles by the Jarrold Stand, who, rightly, chastised me for leaving when I did....of course, would have had more of a lie-in had they not tested the PA system at the ground at before 8am with a series of loud bing-bongs, but there you go...

Anyway...had a feeling we have been going to seriously damage another team for a while now. So delighted it was Ipswich!

Worried that, out of Surman, Lansbury and Wes, Lambo will only ever start with two of those three if fit/available, worried still more about the stories linking Wes to WBA as part of any deal for Barnett. If that happens, and Lansbury is off, permanently, after his months loan is up, we will be depending a hell of a lot on Surman, and if he is injured or out of sorts, well...who comes in and weaves the magic?

Love Simon Lappin, he just keeps on performing, he's like the Trumpton clock=never too slowly, never too quickly, always just right.

Holt will take over from Hucks as THE living legend at Norwich if he keeps this up.

Lansbury is from another planet-never mind X-Ray vision, he has future vision, he sees things and spaces no one else does.

Russell Martin-"take a bow son".

Oh...and Chris Martin, whatever type of player he is becoming, its a bloody good one!

Finally, enjoyed the You Tube clip of us wishing our Suffolk neighbours a fond farewell and safe journey at the station yesterday. Yes indeed, lets all have a disco...
Brilliant!!
