wrong context

if we are playing three central midfielders with Hucks + 2 up front then I would expect those front 3 to go wide to provide a bit of width so I would not tell McKenzie to stick in the middle. In that formation you will need him to go right a bit. A stright 4-4-2 would be a different matter but we aren't going to play that while Hucks is around.
