agreed, I remember in 1984, when Steve Foster, Brighton's captain

was trying to get himself sent off in their last league game so he wouldn't be suspended for the final. He failed when the ref cottoned on to it.
Funnily enough they were excellent without him, drawing 2-2 against Man U. When he came back into the team they got hammered 4-0 in the replay
