One more thing from last night and, in fact, preceding games

Would it be at all possible for Ashton to stay vaguely central and be in the box to receive crosses rather than somewhere on the wing not making them, and even if he did having no one there to do anything with. Or am I misunderstanding the centre bit of centre forward.
