Blokes always call blokes "love" up here, you get used to it.

They also have the most bizarre pronunciation of the world "half" I've ever heard. It's like "hierve" but not quite.

Very often the older boys only drink halves too, when they're out, so you'll hear an old boy asking a barman for a round of "six hierves of beer please love" if there's a gang of them out.
