Presumably they trialled him on the streets of Piswich because I can't think of anywhere else where George could have been thought lifelike

Those were the days, though, when a great British Boffin could knock up a robot in his shed out of scrap metal, before everything went digital and compooterised and inventors becamse spotty 15 year olds writing code in their bedrooms
