Fair point, though I don't get the comparisons with Declan Rudd.

True, he's not as young as Rudd but he is young enough to be allowed to make basic errors. This is probably the highest level he's played at (aside from the one appearance at Everton). He wasn't as tested as he has been this season when he was at Cambridge, Stockport and Crewe and has only really been getting regular games at a level similar to the Championship since Everton loaned him out to Motherwell in 2009, so you can forgive him basic errors this early in his career. He is a naturally gifted keeper who will learn lessons, eventually.
