Thats the part I don't understand either.

If it was just speeding then its probably worth it for Macca to bail out his buddy and pay the fine.

Maybe the Lawyer advised him that if Macca could prove he wasnt driving he would get off.

He could also hypothetically advised him if he said he didn't know which of his buds was driving they would probably get off too without any further evidence.

The only problem is...... it kind of makes him look bad..... for about 5 mins.........By next week It will be forgotten like Holts run in.
