He might of meant last night.

It was, if I remember correctly, quite dark last night, at times.

He might of forgetten until now. He might of been having his nice quiet afternoon nap and woken up with a start going "Fucking brakelights!" with a bit of a snort and some rapidly-returning-to-consciousness looking about the room in confusion, the silly old duffer.
